CDI organized the second Multiplier event of the project ENSEMBLE (Expectation and Non-formal Skills to Empower Migrants and to Boost Local Economy), Erasmus + Project, on 12.07.2019 in Tetovo, Macedonia. The event was attended by 34 participants with different background: adult education, NGO’s, VET operators, policy makers, local stakeholders.
The project developed non-formal and informal learning (NFIL) mechanism, focusing on migrants’ needs that will help VET’s educators to identify and assess the NFIL professional competences of migrant groups, allowing migrants to play a central role in the integration process.
The Ensemble NFIL mechanism uses media (pictures, videos, sequences of images) allowing educators to identify migrant areas and degrees of competence. This mechanism allows educators to profile migrants’ professional skills set, in order to direct them towards the most suitable VET offer (custom solutions) for employment.
Participants found the event very interesting and useful.
